In her latest interview with Byrdie, Julia Garner opened up about the only beauty trend she cannot get behind. The 29-year-old said she does not like “some of the Y2K stuff” and that it was a “bad era” that should not return. She felt strange because it had slowly started to trickle into the mainstream again. “Wait, what? Really?’ We worked hard to get out of that, let’s not go back,” added the American star.
In the same interview, the Emmy winner also revealed the hair product she cannot live without, which helped in maintaining her curly hair. Unlike her, many celebrities have approved of this beauty trend in the past months. In fact, the Gen-Z sensation Millie Bobby Brown rocked one of the Y2K hair looks, bleaching her bangs for an outing. Though Garner does not want some old trends to revive, she always had an amazing relationship with beauty.
The actress makes sure to tick all the boxes in the beauty category from hair to makeup at every red carpet appearance. However, she pays a tad bit more attention to her fragrance.

In her interview with Elle in September, Julia Garner was asked about her relationship with beauty. In her response, the Modern Love star stated she has always loved experimenting with fashion and clothes. However, when it comes to beauty, she had a special connection with fragrance. The actress used to collect perfumes when she was a kid and liked to put on lighter fragrances.
Even after growing up and coming to the entertainment industry, her love for fragrance has remained the same. Thus, she joined hands with Gucci Guilty, the sophisticated scent which gives tribute to love and self-acceptance. According to her, this perfume had this authenticity and boldness she could not resist. While she may not want the Y2K trend to last, she makes sure her fragrance does.
