In September 2022, Jennifer Aniston picked up a retreat in the popular beach town of Montecito, California. The Friends star bought the Mediterranean-style abode which belonged to Oprah Winfrey. The talk show legend owned a two-acre property in the luxe town where Meghan Markle and Prince Harry settled down with their kids. So the 54-year-old purchased the 4,000-square-foot Tuscan farmhouse from Winfrey for US$14.8 Million.

The property also includes two cottages which went to her personal trainer and property manager Bob Greene. Both celebrities made an off-market deal, so the details of the home and amenities are few. But fans would be happy to know that the American actress was quite excited when she got a place near the royals.

The Netflix star wanted to be friends with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry

The Sussexes have been living in Montecito, Santa Barbara since they stepped back from their role as senior royals in 2020. So when Aniston got to know that the couple would be her neighbours, she expressed her desire to become friends with them. According to Heat Magazine, a source revealed that the Emmy winner hugely admires the pair and has heard “wonderful things” about them.

The feeling was mutual from the other side as Markle wanted to meet the actress, too. Insider said both the ladies are dog lovers, and this would help them get along easily. They could go to the beach together or wine tasting whenever they are free from work. In a nutshell, their interaction would be blasting because both parties are happy with their neighbours.
