The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, Guy Ritchie’s action comedy film starring Henry Cavill, is based on Damien Lewis’ Churchill’s Secret Warriors: The Explosive True Story of the Special Forces Desperadoes of WWII. Although the film had fans on edge before its release, it failed to leave a mark at the box office. However, as per Henry Cavill's Updates on X, the film ranked #6 on Amazon Prime’s most popular films list of 2024.

According to official box office records, the flick was released on April 19 this year with 2 hours and 2 minutes running time. Unlike Argylle, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare earned positive reviews from critics. Yet, it was a box office bomb. Ritchie’s film grossed only $27.3 million on a $60 million budget. However, following its streaming debut in May, Amazon Prime may have changed the trajectory of its reception single-handedly, making it the 6th most popular film this year.
