Henry Cavill has long parted ways with the DCU. While he is moving on in his professional career and leaving behind a legacy, Superman: Legacy found his replacement. After a lot of speculation and mystery from the Studio’s side, finally, the names of the ‘super-couple’ are out. But fans still can not believe the new DC boss did not choose this amazing Marvel star for the role of Man of Steel.

There have been a lot of nominations for The Witcher star’s replacement. However, it came down to three stars named Nicholas Hoult, David Corenswet, and Tom Brittney. Out of these three stars, the Guardians of the Galaxy director picked his Superman and it is David Corenswest. And his love interest, Lois Lane will be played by Rachel Brosnahan. However, fans are sad about Nicholas Hoult not getting the part. 

Previously, the X-Men star had lost Batman to the Twilight star, Robert Pattison. No matter how hard it must have been, as he once talked about it, too, fans were really rooting for him for Superman: Legacy. Now, The Great actor got another rejection from a superhero role, and his fans are expressing their support.

Well, fans wanted to see their favorite English actor playing the powerful Kryptonian in DCU’s upcoming flick. While The Menu fame is out of the race, his fans have his back as they can not stop showing love.

When the fandom got the news about the 40-year-old actor’s departure from the DCU, they could not hold their emotions. Now that Hoult is in the same position as Cavill, fans show their support and unconditional love for the actor. Some of them are relieved that Hoult did not get Superman because now, he would be able to focus on romcoms. While people appreciated his performance in The Great, others just expressed how sad they were.

It is okay if Hoult did not get to be Superman or Batman. But fans definitely want him to play Lex Luthor instead of Man of Steel.
