With Henry Cavill yet again making the buzz in the cinematic terrain with Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, there barely remains any scope to subdue the anticipation. When the movie premiered in New York City on Monday, several tabloids followed suit to put up a review for the same, all echoing the mastery of its class artists and the maker. Similarly, even the actor seemed quite satisfied with his work in the movie opposite Alan Ritchson under Ritchie’s directorial, which hovered a sense of direction within him. 

Amidst working on the movie with Ritchson, however, there was a provision for Cavill to enjoy the essential respite he treasured most. Yet, it may not be the one typically presumed.

In the latest interview on Rich Eisen Show, Henry Cavill discussed many things but, most importantly, much more about The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. Discussing the formidable duo selected by Guy Ritchie—Cavill and Alan Ritchson—Eisen inquired about their workout regimen in preparation for the intense action sequences. Cavill humorously dismissed any such regimen, quipping that he could not possibly keep up with Alan. However, he did reveal the most cherished aspect of working with him- the “wonderful break” he got by entrusting him with all the action sequences. 

Even though Cavill is renowned for his prowess in executing grand action scenes, his expression of gratitude for moving past the exertion of intricate choreography was visible because of Richtson. The British actor continued that despite Richtson offering him the opportunity to participate, he declined, which allowed Richtson to shoulder the responsibility entirely. While Cavill acknowledged Richtson's “talent” in being able to pull it off all at once, for him it was the necessary break that made him forever grateful to him.

Leaning on the fact that Cavill had previously made it clear during filming Mission Impossible with Tom Cruise that he likes to do his stunts, Eisen was quick to raise counter questions. 

During the same interview, Eisen swiftly recalled his commitment during the filming of Mission: Impossible - Fallout alongside Tom Cruise, where his determination to perform his stunts without a body double led him to rehearse the bathroom scene for "four weeks." Eisen, intrigued by this dedication, could not resist asking whether Cavill still finds satisfaction in doing his stunts upon his confession. The British actor admitted that "it's just nice from time to time just to do the acting bit rather than acting and the fight."

Cavill further seized the opportunity to promote the Highlander reboot, promising “plenty” of action. While Ritchson takes on the action-heavy role, fans may miss seeing the former Superman display his fighting skills. Nevertheless, with the positive reception from Rotten Tomatoes upon its debut, the movie is not only poised to be a success but acts as a ray of hope for Cavill's career after multiple setbacks.
