Henry Cavill’s James Bond Dreams Reach a Stalemate as Another MCU Star Is Tipped to Bag the 007 Role, and It Is Not Chris Evans
In one of the James Bond films, the actor says, “What makes you think this is my first time?” Well, this dialogue can easily be suitable for Henry Cavill. He auditioned for the role in 2006, but because of his unfit physique, he did not get the part. Now, with the long wait for the face of the next 007 character, the English actor got another MCU star as his opponent.
After Daniel Craig’s last performance in the 2021 Bond film, fans have been waiting and waiting for the new face of the iconic character. While the franchise is yet to decide who will be the replacement, fans certainly can not wait. There has been a poll about the potential actors who could be the next James Bond. Apparently, the former The Witcher star just jumped up alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

As Express reported, Ladbrokes has awarded the Enola Holmes actor a fantastic 5/2 odds same as the MCU star. Taylor-Johnson appeared in the 2015 Avengers: Age of Ultron. Now, he is going to star in Kraven the Hunter who is Spider-Man’s biggest nemesis. Now, with these two competing with each other, is the MCU star going to win just like another Marvel hero, Chris Evans?

It is not every day that you get to hear about a Marvel star replacing the former DC star in a film. After his departure from the DCU and The Witcher, the 39-year-old actor got some major projects. And Highlander, an upcoming film, was one of them. However, after the shocking news of the Hemsworth brother’s takeover, it came out that the Captain America star is going to replace Cavill in Highlander.
An official announcement from the team members is still pending. But given the recent events in his professional life, it is possible this British star from the Marvel Universe could take away the Bond film. Apart from Aaron Taylor-Johnson, there are other actors, including the Bridgerton star, Regé-Jean Page, who are in line for the role. In the words of the great James Bond himself, “Now there’s a name to die for.”
