Henry Cavill is all geared up to win over hearts with the upcoming Matthew Vaughn spy action comedy film Argylle. The flick has been the talk of the town ever since fans received word of Dua Lipa and John Cena joining forces with Cavill. All the movie buffs have been tapping their feet with anticipation to marvel at the versatile actor’s brilliance in the spy genre. Set to release in the month of February 2024, Argylle recently dropped its trailer, which shed some light on the confusion created by its teaser. 

A day after putting out the official teaser of the Argylle franchise’s first film, Universal Pictures introduced its star-studded cast. While fans ended up scratching their heads over all the twists and turns, they could not help but notice Cavill’s peculiar hairdo, making his forehead look larger than usual. Right after the trailer surfaced, netizens filled up social media with memes poking fun at the 40-year-old actor’s giant forehead. 

Before Cavill’s forehead, netizens were busy discussing the chemistry between Lipa and The Witcher star. A sneak peek from the movie, featuring the ‘Levitating’ singer with Cavill, generated a lot of chatter on the internet. The snap was from the dancing sequence that popped up at the beginning of the official trailer. Fans were in two minds about the picture and expressed their mixed responses on social media. 

However, in terms of Cavill’s hairdo from Argylle, fans on Twitter (now X) seem to unanimously agree on how strange it was.

However, nothing can beat the excitement of scrolling through hilarious meme after meme, directed at the Man of Steel actor. 

Fans even went on to share some shots from his days as the Superman. They hilariously pointed out how Cavill’s recent hairdo looks exactly like how it did mid-air when Superman was flying.

X users also gave references from the 2001 American comedy film, Zoolander. According to them, if Ben Stiller took steroids, he would look like the titular character from Argylle. 

While it is too soon to say whether the movie will turn out to be a hit or a flop, it is definitely creating the buzz among fans.
