Everyone loves superheroes; they seem to hold special places in our hearts. That is why when Henry Cavill announced his cape would be hung up for good, the whole world came to a standstill. From starring in Zack Snyder’s 2013 film, Man of Steel, Cavill has come a long way. With the actor’s exit from DCU, fans are disheartened, but the upcoming DCU movie may help lessen the hurt a bit.

With the release date of Blue Beetle approaching quickly, it is not surprising that the team is working fast to get their promotions done. In a recent interview with Nestor Bentancor on YouTube, Angel Manuel Soto, the director, brought up the impact Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel had on him and told the interviewer that the movie will be referenced in his upcoming film.

He says that waking up to the news that Zack Snyder wanted to watch his film elated him. But that was not all. The director also seemingly got support from yet another DC director. Filmmaker David Ayer, known for Suicide Squad (2016), also shared the news about the upcoming film, which overwhelmed Soto because of the love and support he was getting from filmmakers he admires.
