The Duke and the Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have gone through a rollercoaster of a ride since the year they tied their knots. As 2018 marks their wedding anniversary, the year also marks the onset of an unhealthy amount of criticism aimed at the pair. Nonetheless, having taken their time to welcome their two little bundles of joy, the couple knew just about the time they should get things in order. More than either family, fans had the back of their relationship since day one.

The Duchess sat for an interview with the famous American idol, Ellen DeGeneres, in year 2021. However, the entire video was kept under wraps until a few days ago when DeGeneres released the full interview to mark Markle’s birthday. Talking about their happy brief life in California to spilling the beans about Prince Harry and his kids, intrigued the host.

The Megxit, if not a matter of discussion, is always going to be an element connected to the couple. Thus, having asked the Duchess about their revival era, Markle opened up about how Prince Harry actually feels about moving into the peaceful Santa Barbara community. DeGeneres herself expressed how grateful she was for the family that shifted next door to hers. Replying to the host, Markle said, “he loves it”. 

Giving an in-depth look into their lockdown shift, Markle said they got in here when it was quiet. Hence they got just the right amount of time to settle in. She thinks it is the lifestyle that suits them. Moreover, “the weather has been great”, and we are “just happy”, confessed Markle. Witnessing the Sussex family through one of their own instead of a British tabloid made it clear the fans were ever ready to support their favorites.

It has been just a couple of days since DeGeneres released the full video of the interview. However, comments in the section are already overflowing, having seen the Duchess attend the interview after ages. Many users felt at peace at how the Duchess sounded so relaxed and happy in her own space. “What a beautiful friend she is to Harry and Meghan plus the kids,” commented a user about the video.
