"He’s FINALLY coming"- Marvel Studios’ Tease of Galactus in ‘The Fantastic Four’ Has Left Fans in a Frenzy
The Fantastic Four could be a great avenue to roll out some of the most powerful villains into the MCU through its Phase 6 reboot. And one of the most sought-after villains by the fandom is Galactus, whom fans want as the main bad guy in The Fantastic Four. Amid the flood of speculations on the web, Marvel has finally made its cards clear, hinting at the arrival of Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds.
This year, Comic-Con San Diego has become a goldmine of surprises for popular shows and movies. At the end of Thursday night's Deadpool & Wolverine panel, Kevin Feige asked everyone to look to the sky above Petco Park just as the clock struck 9:40. And then came the big reveal. Galactus was formed in the sky, along with the logo of The Fantastic Four, through a fireworks-filled drone show.

The drone show became an official confirmation of Galactus’ arrival in the MCU and followed a Merc with the Mouth-themed drone show at the same venue. However, the inclusion of Galactus in The Fantastic Four was predicted by many, especially after fans caught wind that Silver Surfer was going to be a part of the 2025 movie. Nonetheless, Marvel's confirmation really turned up the heat for fans.
Fans took to X to toast the arrival of Galactus in the MCU while also marveling at the drone show that lit up the sky at Comic-Con.
Fans are over the moon after Marvel's Galactus announcement
This would be the first time Galactus steps into the MCU. However, the actor who has reportedly been cast for the role has already made his MCU debut in 2014. It was reported in May that Ralph Ineson will play Galactus, who previously played a Ravager pilot in Guardians of the Galaxy. And now, with Marvel's confirmation, fans are confident that The Fantastic Four is set to be a blockbuster hit.
Fans are on cloud nine about Galactus, claiming that this decision will breathe new life into their interest in Marvel once again. "He’s FINALLY coming," said a fan.
