“He’s coming”- Ryan Reynolds Plays Coy, Fueling Speculation on a Potential ‘Avenger: Secret Wars’ Comeback Role
Before the holiday cheers took off this year with Halloween to roll out the welcome mat for the year-ending celebrations, Deadpool & Wolverine brought the box-office festivities for warm-up. Unaware of what was to come, this prelude hit harder than an on-season celebration, cranking up the anticipation to the next level for the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s future. Now, fresh off swallowing the victory pills, the Marvel Jesus, that is Ryan Reynolds himself, shed light on a possible Avengers: Secret Wars retreat, leaving fans guessing and convinced simultaneously.
In a recent conversation with Variety, Deadpool & Wolverine showstopper, Ryan Reynolds took a stroll down memory lane of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s biggest summer release to leave fans to piece it together for what will come next. Asked about Deadpool’s future in Marvel, particularly in its upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars, Reynolds slipped into his characteristic elusiveness, saying, “We’ll see what happens there,” letting out a little giggle.

Ryan Reynolds is not just the king of wit but a human mystery wrapped in a sarcastic instead of Harry Potter’s invisible cloak. If keeping secrets were a cash cow, he would be rolling in billions long before Deadpool hit the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But now that it has, it only makes sense that he doubles that guard up for a Marvel-level play-it-cool since even with his contention of not “being cagey,” Reynolds left many persuaded about his potential appearance.
More so since Kevin Feige promised to take Deadpool & Wolverine to Avengers-level success and totally delivered, seeing the Merc with a Mouth in an Avengers movie would be Marvel’s outlaw and the geeks’ wildest comic dream come true.
Fans foresee Ryan Reynolds’ Avengers-level comeback despite his playing safe
Ryan Reynolds did not confirm Deadpool’s appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars in his interview with Variety. But what has been pulling and playing with the comic geeks’ heartstrings is that the Marvel Jesus did not deny it either. Reynolds may not have given the scoop many wanted in a golden spoon, but most believe there is still time for it, making them believe "he's coming."
Some remain hopeful in their hearts, while many of them look a little more than convinced that it is nothing but a comeback cue.

A few folks even believe Reynolds’ response plays perfectly in alignment with his trademark ways whenever he tries to keep some cards close to his chest with comic winks, suggesting he might as well be wearing the Deadpool suit underneath right now. So even though Reynolds may have feigned innocence, the comedy gods have ruled Marvel Jesus guilty.
