In a recent discussion with Variety, Casey Bloys shared updates on HBO’s upcoming releases over the next year and a half before announcing the return of the core cast for Euphoria's third season. Bloys emphasized the advantages of Warner Bros. IP alongside HBO, highlighting that the next major series following the House of the Dragon will be The Penguin, debuting in September. Bloys was uncertain about specific dates but mentioned the Dune prequel series, set to release in the fall, which will explore the origins of the Bene Gesserit. Looking ahead to 2025, he discussed a planned prequel series for Stephen King’s It. Finally, the HBO official revealed plans to revisit the world of Hogwarts with a new Harry Potter series slated for later that year. Thus, HBO looks all stacked up, at least for the next 18 months.
