The past year has seen a lot of strife for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. From the Spotify deal that caved in, to rising tensions with the Duke’s family, things have not been exactly breezy. But one night when nothing else matters and one can truly let go is the good old birthday. Something about the special day makes everything else look dull in comparison. And that’s exactly what the Duchess did as she reigned in her 42nd year.

As she heads out to town for dinner with her Prince, they are joined by a small group of people. Naturally, all eyes were on the fashion icon herself, who as usual slayed like a queen!

The birthday girl must shine the brightest and Markle did

Amidst the lush gardens of Montecito, Markle was all smiles as she was snapped leaving the trendy Italian restaurant, Tre Lune. The chosen venue for the merriment is frequented by the likes of Kourtney Kardashian, among other A-list celebrities. Donning a jaw-dropping Posse dress that had everyone swooning, the birthday girl’s black and white silhouette can be spotted from afar. Moreover, her signature latte makeup gives her the kind of royal glow fit for a Duchess.

Also catching the eyes is a bag the former Suits star was clutching which retails at a higher cost than even her dress. The line of Cult Gaia bags is a celebrity favorite, having been spotted on Jennifer Lopez and Ariana Grande in the past as well. Although it seems that the mother of two seems to be cutting down on costs amidst the legal battles and lost deals, a girl must splurge on her special day of all days. 

Escorted by the dashing Duke, the Duchess looked swoon-worthy. This might put their split rumors to rest. Or maybe not.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry battle split-up rumors 

Amidst all the hullabaloo about the rough patch the couple has hit, they haven’t been spotted together much. Adding fuel to the fire, the Royal House of Windsor has aided the speculations by hinting at the financial troubles faced by their estranged relatives. Aside from this soirée, the Sussexes have made few appearances in recent times, making this celebration all the more special. Now to top all that, the couple is losing face among trusted acquaintances including old friend Omid Scobie.

But the 42-year-old’s loyal friends stand by the Sussexes more determined than ever to shut down the rumors about the troubles in the Montecito paradise. Her long-time friend and pilates instructor, Heather Dorak, is one such friend, whose husband Matt Cohen is also seen at the dinner. Meanwhile, the presence of Prince Harry alongside his fashionista wife speaks volumes in itself.
