With time, DC introduced the fandom to some of the finest comic book characters there are. From Batman to Wonder Woman, DC gave us an incredible ensemble. However, when we talk about popular superheroes in DC, one cannot not name Superman. Seeing Henry Cavill portray the character made Superman much more intriguing and famous. And recently, a never seen picture of the British actor in the Kryptonian suit surfaced online.
Gone but never forgotten! It has been months since the Enola Holmes star bid farewell to the DC. His departure indeed left a hole in the fans’ hearts, with various petitions to bring back Cavill surfacing online. However, now that bringing back the British star seems highly unlikely, the best we can do is reminisce.
Zack Snyder shared an unseen picture of Cavill’s 2013 Man Of Steel online to make things interesting. The Suicide Squad director took to his official Vero account, where he uploaded the pictures. The picture depicted the Witcher star in full superhero regalia, rocking the iconic Kryptonian suit in red, blue, and golden. Fans were delighted to see the Mission Impossible actor stand tall with pride in the Superman costume.

In the post, the Army of Dead director credited his long-time friend and collaborator Clay Enos for the picture. Shortly after, the fans were quick to call out James Gunn as they demanded Cavill’s return to the franchise. Moreover, many fans even expressed their adoration for the actor in the iconic suit. Surprising as it sounds, rumors of James Gunn and Peter Safran planning a Batman-Superman reunion in Flash 2 surfaced online. However, it would not be Cavill who will play the Man Of Steel.

We are no strangers to the legacy that Henry Cavill left behind in the role of Man Of Steel. The actor’s flawless portrayal of the role was a major reason behind the character’s skyrocketing popularity. However, despite Cavill’s legacy, Gun made a shocking promise of a better Superman Legacy movie.

Surprising as it sounds, the director took to Twitter, where he spoke about how the process has started. Furthermore, Gun wrote that he is open to constructive criticism to make a better film.
