Despite hesitation, the duo acts to be a couple only for the pretend act to play Cupid. On its December 22 release, the movie landed alongside Migration, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, and The Iron Claw.

Debuting a 49% score on Rotten Tomatoes and a 6.5 out of 10 on IMDb, Anyone But You has, though, evoked mixed responses from viewers. Many praised its heart-warming plot and beautiful setting while also pointing out again the evident chemistry between the two lead pairs. After making $1.2 million in previews, the Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney starrer stands to rake in about $7 million in its opening weekend.
