"Funny as F-HUGH-CK"- Ryan Reynolds Hosts X for a Laugh Riot With a Wolverine Documentary for National Geographic
Deadpool & Wolverine is merely a week away. But it looks like the stream of teasers is not going to slow down until the eleventh hour. Deadpool & Wolverine is not only bridging Fox’s X-Men with Marvel Studios but has also managed to bring two Disney divisions under one roof. A new teaser for the upcoming release has dropped in collaboration with National Geographic, and it has X users in stitches.
The Disney-owned National Geographic has cooked up a documentary with Marvel, where Ryan Reynolds takes the mic to narrate about the largest member of the weasel family- the Wolverine, not the superhero. Naturally, Hugh Jackman makes a cameo, and Reynolds does not miss a chance to take a jab, staying true to their trademark rivalry. Reynolds also shared the video on his X with a caption saying, "Many of you haven’t been asking about the rumored Wolverine Documentary we didn’t spend much time making".

This documentary comes as a part of Reynolds and Maximum Effort's 10-part natural history series, Underdogs, with National Geographic. The series spotlights little-known animal characters in the natural world in addition to providing laughs. However, with Deadpool & Wolverine just around the corner, this documentary has only upped the hilarity of the movie's promotional campaign.
Fans are having a field day on X poking fun at how the real wolverine stacks up against Hugh Jackman’s Marvel version.
Fans are having a side-splitting time with Ryan Reynolds' wolverine documentary
Ryan Reynolds described Wolverine, as in the animal, as a grumpy, lazy, broad-headed, somewhat aggressive, and uniquely scented animal who can surprisingly dance well. On the flip side, the human equivalent, Logan, played by Hugh Jackman, is only a rough match to that description. This got fans on X reminiscing that Jackman actually had no clue what a Wolverine was before signing up for the role and thought it was just another kind of wolf, finding the documentary "Funny as F-HUGH-CK".
Fans also commented on the insane marketing campaign for Deadpool & Wolverine, that only seems to be getting wilder and funnier.
Ryan Reynolds also teased a Wolverine and Squirrel Girl team-up, hinting at their brief fling with each other.
