In an interview with Vanity Fair, Kristen Bell dished out her kids' decidedly unfrosty feelings towards the Disney phenomenon. It turns out that being the voice of Anna does not automatically make you the coolest mom. Bell revealed, "They certainly appreciate it in the fact that they can go to college because of it," she said, although they are not a big fan of the Disney franchise.

Bell humorously noted that her children's indifference is expected. "Kids are meant to make you feel grounded," she affirmed, claiming how it comes natural to them to reject things their parents are involved in. Even if they secretly enjoy Frozen, they would not admit it to her. Having kept herself grounded amidst the franchise's massive success, the actress was all praises for her children's down-to-earth nature.

Bell's collaborative experience with Disney allowed her to shape Anna's character. She expressed gratitude for the creative freedom, saying, "They let me kind of take the reins."
