DC is perhaps one of the biggest comic book film franchises in the world. Throughout the years, the franchise has given us some of the best superhero films and shows. Moreover, it also introduced the fans to a whole new world of superheroes and villains, creating a huge fan base in the process. Owing to the massive following DC enjoys, the fans are often debating about the ideal dream cast for a film. And recently, a similar discussion took Twitter by storm as they created a new cast for the popular movie series Suicide Squad.

Hollywood is no stranger to fans’ dream-casting the cast of a movie. Over the years, we have witnessed how fans often speculate and make their own cast for a movie before and even after its release. Especially with the comic book genre films, the fans are often debating about which actor should play what character and so on. Not long ago, Twitter erupted as the DC fans created their ideal cast for James Gunn’s hit film series Suicide Squad. As we all know, the 2016 film and its second installment were perhaps one of the most star-studded films of their time.

However, not long ago, a fan recently shared what his ideal cast for a new Suicide Squad film would feel like. Taking to Twitter, a user with the name Gotham Chief shared what he thinks should be the cast for a movie. The cast featured some of the most iconic superheroes including Deadpool, Peacemaker, and Deadshot, a character Will Smith starred in back in 2016. Moreover, he also featured Deathstroke and Rick Flag in the ensemble.

Shortly after, the post took Twitter by storm as fans had multiple reactions to the same. Not long ago, a similar dream casting took place where the fans re-cast some of the most iconic DC characters.

What did the fans have to say about the Suicide Squad dream casting?

It seems like the fan’s ideal cast for the film is not that ideal for others. DC fans stormed Twitter with many users disagreeing with the fan’s choice of characters. A handful pointed out how all the set of characters had a similar skill set since they all were gunslingers. While a fan called it boring, another commented how he should have added a woman in the cast as well.

Interestingly, one fan seemed to agree with the as he replied, “This Goes Hard.”
