Frogmore Cottage Vacated, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Now Have Eyes Open for a Brand New Property in UK
Despite all the luxury and abundance that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry enjoy today, none of it can replace the feeling of the first home they once lived in. After the prince’s explosive memoir that left Britain’s royal family embarrassed, King Charles stripped his son of Frogmore cottage. As the first home that the Sussexes had ever lived in as a couple, the cottage on Windsor Palace grounds was rather special to both. Well, they not only changed houses then but also the continent they lived in.
Yet, it is often speculated that Prince Harry will eventually set up a base in the UK once again someday.

Although the Sussexes have set up their home in Montecito, California, the Prince often returns to the UK to meet up with his old friends and family. Now, the OK! has revealed that according to a source, Prince Harry is “leading” the effort to also buy a home in Britain. Apparently, the royals have been making use of an apartment in Kensington Palace when they frequent the country.
Earlier, it was also believed that the 39-year-old’s wishes were not reciprocated by Markle. Since he wanted to stay in touch with old friends and return to his roots once in a while, the Suits actress wished to remain in LA. People even believed that the topic was causing rifts between the couple. Ultimately, if the father of two succeeds at convincing his wife, they will most probably buy a house.
If they do go ahead with this plan, certain properties that lie in and around London would suit the Duke and Duchess the most.

While the prince once believed himself to be destined to live at Frogmore Cottage, he could now settle on one of these abodes. First is a private five-bedroom property in Richmond at an undisturbed location. Another historic property is a four-bedroom vintage house in Fulham located a short distance from a close friend of the Duke of Sussex, as well. Alternatively, they could go for a neo-modern apartment with two bedrooms in Kensington which they visit often.
However, the most lavish of all is the six-bedroom estate near the Prince’s hometown of Buckingham. Not only is this opulent listing placed riverside with a fishery but also dates back to Tudor times. Another budget-friendly option is a studio apartment placed on Dean Street in Soho. It may lack the comfort and charm of their Windsor home, but would also fit their requirement.
