Back in 2019, Jennifer Aniston had just stunned the world with her first Netflix collaboration with Adam Sandler for the Murder Mystery franchise. Just months after that, the former Friends star shocked the world as she collaborated with Reese Witherspoon to bring The Morning Show to life. Before the first season of the show came out, the actress sat down with Variety to promote the series. That is when she revealed that “big Marvel films” had heavily influenced her decision.

Aniston said that “when these streaming services were just sort of exploding with this amount of quality” was when she decided to make the jump. After all, she admitted that “what’s available out there” was “just diminishing and diminishing.” While the actress might have felt as though she had no other option to keep herself relevant in the acting world, she seems to have done a rather good job with her and Witherspoon’s project.

The third season of The Morning Show might have run into a couple of hiccups with fans not being completely on board with the plot’s idea. However, it looks like the world will be getting another season.

Back in April 2023, Apple TV+ announced that Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon’s The Morning Show would be coming back for a 4th season. While fans were excited by the news, the third season was still months away. Although the show has since progressed, fans have been put on the fence about the drama series as some thought it was becoming wildly ludicrous.

With the public not receiving the season too well, there is no saying what could happen to Aniston’s series if viewership and rating numbers continue to drop with the brand-new season. However, the actress has her own production company and with a little help from her friends, she might just be able to take the show to new heights.
