‘Friends’ Ross Joins Hands With Brad Pitt Bringing Back Their ‘Rachel Green Hate Club’ in a Hilarious Fan Poster
Friends played host to numerous big-name celebrities during its ten-year run. However, none shone as brightly as Brad Pitt’s guest appearance. Pitt had already established himself as a silver-screen icon with several blockbuster hits before Friends. He portrayed Will Colbert in the ninth episode of season 8, which centered on the tension between him and Rachel, with Ross getting caught up in the drama as well. Recently, a fan page hilariously recreated the moment on one of Brad Pitt’s movie posters.
The poster came from Brad Pitt’s 1999 film, Fight Club, featuring him holding up a bar of soap stamped with the movie’s title. Edward Norton, the narrator of the movie positioned behind him in the original poster. However, Chandler Bing Parody’s page cleverly swapped out the Fight Club title on the soap for the name of Ross and Will’s club from Friends– “I Hate Rachel Greene Club”.

Additionally, instead of Norton, the fan-made poster depicted Ross with a smirk standing behind Pitt. Pitt’s performance as Will even earned him a nomination for an Emmy Award in the category of Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series. His involvement undoubtedly set a stir among fans, providing viewers with an extra reason to be glued to their screens. Especially since Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were an item back in the early 2000s.
The episode, The One with the Rumor, however, drew a few controversies because of the context of conflict between the characters. However, the minute that post showed up, it reminded fans of how hilarious that episode was. And they totally forgot about the fuss it caused.
Fans doubled over with laughter after seeing the Friends X Fight Club poster
In the episode, Will and Ross decided to start a club at school and then spread this crazy rumor that Rachel Green was a hermaphrodite. The rumor was meant to trash Rachel Green’s reputation. However, it offended the community, and some of them even hit NBC to call out the makers’ ignorance. Nevertheless, fans still think that the episode is one of the show’s best.
Fans also shared popular quotes from the episode, along with Brad Pitt’s iconic hair flip.
Fans of Friends flooded social media with GIFs from the show. They predominantly featured Chandler, who spent the entire episode feeling intimidated by Will.
