‘Friends’ Cast Bids Matthew Perry a Tearful Goodbye at a Funeral Service With His Family
On 28th October, Friends actor Matthew Perry unexpectedly passed away, leaving a void in the hearts of fans around the world. Perry was laid to rest today in a private funeral service with his family. After the services for Perry concluded, the friends huddled together to comfort each other. His grief-stricken family, including his mother Suzanne Morrison, his father, John Bennett Perry, and his stepfather, Keith Morrison, were also observed outside. Later, his loved ones progressed to Forest Lawn Memorial Park beside the church. Nestled right across from the iconic Warner Bros Studios where Friends was shot is the cemetery where Perry was buried.
It now stands as a silent guardian, marking the conclusion of the decades-long era that the cast spent creating Friends with their departed friend. Besides Perry, the same cemetery also serves as the eternal abode of other Hollywood luminaries before him. After the ceremony, a multitude of mourners dressed in black attire gathered around the church with shared grief. Especially since the Friends star was cherished among so many.
Although the world remembers him most for his Friends character, Perry did not in fact want it to be so.
