Frankie Muniz recently took to X to share a behind-the-scenes picture while filming Disney+’s Malcolm in the Middle revival. The 39-year-old reunited with his on-screen parents, Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek. “Always good to have Mom and Dad around!” he captioned the picture on social media, showing the trio in all smiles. All three actors, Muniz, Cranston, and Kaczmarek, reprise their roles as Malcolm, Hal, and Lois in the revival.
According to the logline of the four-episode return of the beloved sitcom, “Malcolm and his daughter are drawn into the family’s chaos when Hal and Lois demand his presence for their 40th wedding anniversary party.” Besides the main trio, Christopher Masterson and Justin Berfield re-embrace their roles as Francis and Reese in the upcoming modern-day spin on Malcolm in the Middle. However, Erik Per Sullivan will not re-enact as Dewey.
While the positive acclaim attached to Malcolm in the Middle has always pulled in viewers for sitcom lookalikes, with the revival finally in the works, who is in the cast of the reboot?
