But a recent one by the Kardashian mirrors one of Ye’s biggest controversies.

She attended an event of a close ally recently and even became part of the event. However, Kardashian overdid this time, and it has not settled well with people. It was neither the VMA’s nor something against Taylor Swift, but shares a resemblance to the whole incident.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may not be together anymore, but that does not stop people from making comparisons between the two. She recently attended the Daily Front Row Fashion LA Awards with her daughter North West. Being close to hairstylist Chris Appleton, she presented him with an award on stage. But as per an Instagram video by People, he was about to speak, when she interrupted him to add a personal detail. The socialite excused herself to express how relieved she was about him coming out about his relationship. Appleton recently announced his relationship and got engaged to The White Lotus actor, Lukas Gage.

She stated how people would bug her to know whether he was single, and that she does not have to hide it anymore. While she did it out of fun, unlike Ye, there are those who cannot help but see the uncanny resemblance between her and her ex’s actions.

The incident of Ye from 2009 continues to pop up every few years, rightly so, considering the gravity of it.

The 2009 VMAs event has remained clouded by the incident between Kanye West and Taylor Swift. He took the mike from her during the winner’s acceptance speech, a lot like Kim Kardashian did. He was upset over Swift winning an album for a category that Beyonce was nominated in. West expressed how the ‘Single Ladies’ singer deserved it instead, leaving the then-19-year-old in tears. He was criticized so much, the entertainer had to apologize and left for Japan in self-exile for a while.
