This is the Friends actress’ forgotten show

The forgotten show that the Cake actress was a part of was called Molloy, which first aired on Fox from 25 July 1990 to 15 August 1990. Unlike Rachel Green’s personality, Aniston’s character, Courtney Walke, in Molloy, was snobbish and self-absorbed. She was the half-sister of Baelik’s Molloy Martin. The sitcom had a total of 10 episodes with 3 unaired ones. During the 7 episodes run, Aniston and Baelik’s characters were seen against each other.

Molloy’s life turned upside down when her mother died and found out her father was taking her to New York to settle in with her stepmother and step-siblings. She did not like her new family, however; she tried to adjust to them. The series became interesting because of her planning and plotting against her new family. Despite the interesting and comic plot line, the show did not see its end.

Apparently, Baelik filmed the pilot episode of the NBC show, Blossom, after filming the 7 episodes of Molloy. But two weeks before Molloy‘s premiere, when Blossom aired on television, it received a huge viewership than the other sitcom. Therefore, the production house decided to cancel the sitcom after the run of 7 episodes in order to continue the production of Blossom, which ran for 5 seasons. Despite not being able to work for a long time, Aniston and Baelik’s bond strengthened.
