Prince Harry has become one of the best-selling authors in 2023, thanks to his memoir Spare. In his book, the Duke of Sussex shared many instances that scarred his relationship with his brother and father. It was indeed this honesty that the book became an instant success, even making its place in the Guinness Book of World Records. With this, there also came hopes for Grammy nominations. Even quite recently, Penguin Random House also listed its audiobook for a Grammy Consideration for the Best Audio Book, Narration & Storytelling Recording award.

While all eyes were on Spare to get a Grammy nomination, it did not make it to the list of 2023 nominees. Despite this, the former working royal and his memoir achieved yet another nomination along with many others from this year.

The memoir got a nomination under the category of Best Memoir & Autobiography. Upon its release, this bombshell book made countless headlines in the media. While the Prince’s memoir made it to the list, it is not ‘spared’ as it competes against many other celebrities who launched their memoirs this year. The list includes Britney Spears’ The Woman in Me, Paris: The Memoir by Paris Hilton, and Elliot Page’s Pageboy. Despite meeting with a great reception, Jada Pinkett’s Smith, Worthy was not seen on the list despite also overpowering Spare after its release.
