Following the “Near Catastrophe” Prince Harry Puts Up a Legal Fight Against the Home Office Demanding Security Re-Arangements
Taking all over social media and news networks is a horrific act by the press in pursuit of a car chase after Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle. The ghastly incident in New York City was apparently a “near catastrophic” which lasted for over two hours. The reckless chase undoubtedly brought back fears deep-seated as associated with the Prince’s late mother’s cause of death. Nevertheless, for all we know, Prince Harry is the man on a mission.
Princess Diana’s youngest is clearly not the one to let things as such getaway. The Duke has forever been a groundbreaking force of change and he has thus proved himself yet again.

Following the heated back-and-forth legal whirlwind between the Prince and Murdoch Papers, the Duke has struck another lawsuit, this time against the Home Office. Soon after the couple got past safely in what could have been a fatal car crash, the Prince took the matter up his sleeves to fight for his bare minimum. Guardian reported that the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Hollywood bigwigs, (collectively known as Ravec) had deprived the estranged royals of their protective security.
As per the claims, his lawyers have argued that such an action against the Duke, who is persistently the prime target of the media, is unlawful. Meanwhile, the lawyers on behalf of the Home Office did not hold back either. In response to the Duke’s claims, the HO has affirmed that it was inappropriate for “wealthy people” to enjoy exclusive rights over specialized armed police protective security.
Why was the Duke not allowed private security?
Back in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave up on their UK Sovereigns to seek a new life abroad. Ever since they also washed their hands of all their royal powers and prestige, that included top-tier security escorting them each time they stepped out in public. However, using the 1996 Police Act as his Trump Card, Prince Harry has been persistently demanding private security “subject to payment”.

The act evidently allows the Chief of Police to provide special police services to Ravec, with a significant amount of payment, as mentioned. Nonetheless, the Prince never really won the case against the officers who found it detrimental to the Police’s image before the public.
