Ever since the Sussexes turned their back on their lineage, they received a lot of heat from the members of the Royal family. Especially after the Duke and the Duchess took aim at the Royals in their interviews, they instantly got on everyone’s nerves. However, they still managed to maintain good bonds with some of the distant Royal members. As per Nova Gente, following their success at the multi-sport event, they went on to meet the Prince’s cousin Princess Eugenie, who lives in Portugal part-time.

The source also shared that the split between the Sussexes and the Royal family took a toll on the cousins, who are still best friends with the Prince. Following Megxit, the sisters ended up in a state of discord as they had to see “both sides of it”. The bond between the cousin sisters and the Duke was also apparent during the coronation of King Charles as well.

2023 was truly a significant year for the Prince owing to the King’s coronation and the Invictus Games. However, the Suits star’s absence was impossible to be overlooked by people.
