Earlier this year, director James Cameron unveiled his plans for another Terminator installment. It would be the 7th film of the franchise and will potentially follow the same storyline, according to reports from Screen Rant. Although it has been years since he had done it, after Netflix’s FUBAR, there is no doubt that he could still ace it. Unfortunately, the 76-year-old lay down his leather jacket and sunglasses ages ago. While the hype for the film is beginning to increase, the Austrian Oak has no plans of returning. However, fans might still get to see the star on screen as Cameron revealed that he plans on using AI to bring the franchise back to life.

After the SAG-AFTRA strike ended, many different films that were in the air like Deadpool 3 ended up getting their release dates. However, that was not the case for James Cameron’s Terminator 7. That is due to the fact that the script itself, has not been finalized as of yet. While the world is already getting hyped for the film, the director has not been able to put his ideas to paper.

Without a script or any solid plans, the film has not been added to any studio’s production slate either. In fact, as of now, the film is unconfirmed and is just a plan in progress. Hopefully, fans will not have to wait too long for the film to become a reality. But from the looks of it, that may not go according to plan.
