On 26th birthday, Joseph Baena dials fitness up a notch

Joseph Baena could very well be his father’s biggest fan. Among all his kids, Baena’s physique matches the Austrian Oak the most. Picking up bodybuilding and acting just like Schwarzenegger in his younger days, he recently recreated a timeless pose of the star from 1976. Now, as he turned 26, Baena took not to party but to put his body through an endurance test. Taking to Instagram, he announced that he had just completed his first-ever triathlon.

Captioning his post as “running into my late twenties,” Baena unraveled his muscular stature fresh off the water on a beach. It is no secret that he frequents the gym just like the FUBAR star, and is equally committed to fitness. Thus, a triathlon was a befitting way to start over in his late twenties. Elaborating his experience further, he added to the post, “I truly believe that if you have muscles, you should be able to use them!” And as proved by Schwarzenegger’s dedication even as a septuagenarian, it comes as no surprise.

Fitness and physique are not the only ways that Baena is mirroring Schwarzenegger. The 26-year-old is on the verge of making his Hollywood breakthrough.

The latter will also have him pay homage to one of the most iconic lines from his father’s Terminator movies.
