Following a Big Win Against Boreham Wood, Ryan Reynolds Offered Uncanny ‘Deadpool’ Memorabilia to Ben Foster
Since Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney acquired the Welsh football team, the team has been thriving. Recently, Wrexham FC secured two major wins and sealed their promotion. After winning the match against Notts County, the third-oldest professional football club won against Boreham Wood as well. As Wrexham FC gets closer to achieving its goal of reaching the heights, the Canadian actor planned a surprise for Ben Foster.
Deadpool proved to be the turning point for the 46-year-old actor. However, it seems the film will be a turning point in the relationship between Reynolds and Ben Foster. After their big win against Boreham Wood, the actor offered uncanny memorabilia to the goalkeeper. The Vancouver-born actor got a lot of attention after his demand to get Foster’s match-worn shirt. Now, on his podcast, Foster revealed the co-owner of Wrexham AFC offered him a piece of gift from his original Deadpool costume.
When a clip from the podcast was shared on Instagram, Reynolds was quick to reply with a witty response, where he revealed what he was offering the goalkeeper.

Apparently, the actor offered to give him the Deadpool underwear that he originally wore. “I’m also gifting you the Deadpool underwear,” wrote the actor in the comments. He revealed the underwear smelled better than the shirt that Foster gave to Reynolds. After Foster’s return to the club, he and Reynolds have developed a close bond. Now, with this hilariously adorable gesture, fans are eager to see more of Ben Foster as well.

Because of his philanthropic work, the Canadian actor has received a lot of love in various forms. He often talks about giving it back to the surrounding people. This time, before the Boreham Wood match, he offered one of Deadpool’s gloves to a Wrexham fan, Jay Fear. Fear has a terminal cancer and as a gesture of goodwill, Reynolds gave one glove to him.
Interestingly, the other glove went to Foster’s home along with another hilarious gift. Now, the Green Lantern star is expecting to see more of Foster’s fabulous skills and hoping he would stay a little longer. While every Wrexham fan is hoping the same, did you know the Red Notice star once collected money via Deadpool to donate? Well, Deadpool has been a fortunate event in Reynolds’ life.
