5 Years Before Hitting at Kanye West’s Election Campaign, Jennifer Aniston Admitted How His Then Wife Kim Kardashian Was Her Guilty Pleasure
Jennifer Aniston is one of those celebrities in Hollywood who likes to keep her life private on the Internet. For the longest time, she did not join the bandwagon. Reruns and Friends marathons can only keep fans satisfied so much, as they pull out their phones to stalk their favorite stars. Finally, all the Friends cast members joined Instagram in 2020. Rachel’s fans got a scoop on her life in 2019, with the most adorable on-screen Instagram Friends reunion. Nevertheless, Aniston is not really a social-media person.
The Murder Mystery actress tried her hand at it long before she made an account for herself, and was left “sweating bullets.” As the actress got candid in an interview back in 2015, let us look at what she had to say about her guilty pleasures and Kim Kardashian being the center of it.

The actress brought some stakes for the beauty company, Living Proof, back in 2012. And like any Hollywood owner, she took over the company’s Instagram page. A 2015 report by ET recalled a stressed-out Aniston in an interview with People where she said, “It is too much pressure. For these Kardashians, it’s a career!” Acknowledging her lack of expertise in the area, she was very impressed by the Kardashians’ family. She said that the Kardashian-Jenner family definitely knows what they are doing, and are good at it. And watching them on screen is “a guilty pleasure for sure.”
Besides, people can not help but be taken in awe by these now-billionaire women. Documenting their journey throughout all these years on the internet is a feat that not many can handle. And without a doubt, The Kardashians crew could very well.
While Aniston shared fascination for the now Kardashian empire, she has had a bit of a rocky relationship with the SKIMS owner’s ex-husband, Kanye West. Five years after her fangirling for his then-partner, Aniston was not equally supportive of him.

Soon after joining Instagram in 2019, Aniston openly expressed her views and encouraged her fans to vote for the right person in the 2020 US presidential elections. Showing her support for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the actress dropped a Ye bomb in her captions. She said in her PostScript, “It’s not funny to vote for Kanye. I don’t know how else to say it.” And this ensued the Friends war with West who quickly resorted to Twitter. He connected the Friends actress’ dissent to his Joe Rogan interview.
Adding another tweet, he slammed the actress with a “Friends wasn’t funny either” comment. Since then, other cast members have also shown their criticism for the Yeezy owner’s rant. Friends’ Monica, Courteney Cox, made a funny video skit reply, saying, “I bet the old Kanye thought Friends was funny.”
