The strike marked the biggest fall out of Hollywood as, after 60 years, actors and writers came together once again. However, it also affected the production of a lot of shows and movies. Now, while it is moving beyond that, in 2001, the same situation happened with the Emmys, but for different reasons. Traditionally, the award night takes place in the month of either August or September. But because of the terrorist attack on the 11th of September, 2001, the committees postponed the event and held it in November later that year.

This latest situation marks the historic changes in Hollywood. Although the nominations for this year’s events have already been announced. Amidst the nominees, Sydney Sweeney’s The White Lotus has found its place. Moreover, shows like Succession and The Last of Us are also on the list. Interestingly, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s Welcome to Wrexham also got its first Emmy nomination this year.
