Sydney Sweeney has spent a lot of time traveling in the past months. The actress flew to Australia at the beginning of this year to shoot her upcoming rom-com Anyone But You. Then after the actor strike ended some weeks back, she traveled back to shoot some scenes for the film and has stayed since then. With her latest flick to release soon, the reason behind her extended stay was not clear. However, the newly released pictures of her shooting for Eden have now answered it all!

The pictures shared on social media give glimpses of her look in the upcoming movie.

Photos of Sydney Sweeney recently surfaced on X, formerly Twitter, from the set of Eden. It showed the actress shooting for Ron Howard’s upcoming flick on Australia’s Gold Coast. Sweeney was seen donning an olive-drab green outfit and knee-length grey socks. But what stood out more was her hair, which showed a major transformation of her blonde tresses. She tied her brunette hair in a bun, which let her face shine out in the sunlight of Australia.

The announcement of her joining the cast came last month that she will star beside Jude Law, Ana de Armas, and Daniel Bruhl. Along with her, the name of Oscar nominee Vanessa Kirby was also revealed who recently starred in Ridley Scott’s Napoleon. The Euphoria star’s cheerfulness while working on the sandy shores with a donkey carrying wooden boxes explains why she called Australia her home.

Eden has drawn inspiration from true incidents that took place on the Galapagos Island. Ron Howard has been trying to bring this story to the big screen for 15 years. He finally got the chance to depict this tale of murder and survival following a group of eclectic characters who desert civilization for this island. The production team working beside Howard includes Imagine Entertainment’s Brian Grazer and Karen Lunder, AGC Studios’ Stuart Ford, and Bill Connor and Patrick Newall.

The creators told Deadline that the film dwells deeply on the human conditions “that are unexpected, absurd, humorous, sexy, but above all thrilling and deeply suspenseful”. The rest fans will find out when the movie hits theatres, which remains unclear. However. with Sydney Sweeney shooting for the flick in this new avatar and the strikes end, the flick might grace the screens soon!
