However, after that heroic rescue, the studio has not missed a chance to soak up the spotlight, even bringing back Robert Downey Jr. in a new way. Marvel Updates recently took to X to announce the return of the Eternals after the Marvel Cinematic Universe releases Avengers: Secret Wars on May 7, 2027. For those who could use a refresher, Eternals was the 26th film from the studio based on immortal alien beings who emerged from hiding after several millennia to protect Earth from their more ancient counterparts, the Deviants. Serving as a part of Phase Four of MCU, although the superhero flick grossed $402 million, it also became the first film from their belt to receive underwhelming feedback.

Although the studios have yet to officially confirm whether the Eternals will truly return for the ride, the X outlet has announced so, and the speculative fans have given their two cents.
