Since Marvel wrapped perhaps its most successful phases in many decades with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and The Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, the studio has been running a mile per second when it comes to ideas about maintaining the legacy. But no matter what it does, it seems to have left the shoes too big to fit even itself, especially when it comes to its money-spinning misfits, Avengers. 

As Marvel Studios begins unveiling its lineup of Avengers-centric films, it becomes increasingly apparent that the studio might be grappling with the weight of its own extraordinary triumphs. Once celebrated for its ability to delight audiences across the board, Marvel now finds itself at the receiving end of vocal fan discontent. The discontent arose when a fan compared the number of Avengers appearances between Iron Man and Infinity War and Endgame and Doomsday, leading to a straight call out of Kevin Feig. 

Despite having raked in major numbers with Deadpool & Wolverine and steering clear of the same unsuccessful turn that leads to DC's state prior to James Gunn, Marvel still seems to be grappling with the difficulties of foraying into a new phase as fans sound agitated over the reduced screen time of Avengers.

Fans were all up in arms, from expressing their dislike regarding the lineup to waxing poetic about the earlier lineup while subsequently thrashing Feig.

Despite having maintained a sense of familiarity by re-casting Robert Downey Jr., Marvel has still not managed to neutralize all the thorns in its way as fans thrash the current treatment of Avengers, with most of the characters getting barely one feature in some movies before the ultimate Doomsday drop.

While some fans have given the studio, the benefit of doubt as they point to how the new characters have their own TV shows, which could be why Marvel did not consider it important to feature them in too many ways.

Fans who had already been raging at the lack of connectivity in the last phase seem to be on the brink of packing their backs as they point out the same mistakes being repeated in this phase with higher intensity.
