Fans Smell Wicked Drama as Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot Share World Stage for 'Snow White'

Disney may have been a dreamland back in the day, but as it keeps the live-action remakes coming, it has become a hotbed of drama and controversies. What used to be only fairytales and roses, has now found itself at the center of divided discussions regarding racism, fat-shaming, and more, with Rachel Zegler's casting in Snow White not just tickling but even plucking out some feathers last year.

A lot can change in a year and this could not be any truer for Disney's live-action remake of Snow White as Rachel Zegler turns the tides in her favor with a mere teaser. However, Zegler's unconventional casting was not the only subjective poison apple in the basket as fans flinched through their screens, suspecting alleged tension between Gal Gadot and Rachel Zegler at first look drop.

In the past few years, while cinema might have evolved to be larger than life than before, Hollywood culture has done a whole three-sixty and the press tours of the recent releases are proof of the same. What started with Florence Pugh in a black sparkly dress at the Don't Worry Darling made way for the standalone interviews of Justin Baldoni during the It Ends With Us press tour, and it seems Snow White will follow suit.

Rachel Zegler Admits a Wholesome Connection to Jennifer Aniston’s ‘Friends’ to Jimmy Fallon

While an entire press tour is yet to happen, fans are reeling off the suspected tension between the two Snow White co-stars at the recent Disney event.

Fans go feral at suspected animosity between Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot

Much like how the mirror in Snow White tells no lies, Rachel Zegler's expressions at the latest Disney event while standing alongside Gal Gadot, do not either. The two play Snow White and the Evil Queen in the movie, and while they evidently left their characters back on the set, they seem to have carried the animosity between them or at least fans believe Rachel Zegler did.

From zooming up on Zegler's expression to comparing the dynamic to that of Hughie Campbell and Homelander in The Boys, the Internet had a field day.

Fans joked that Rachel Zegler's face had subtitles and she just cannot help it. To make the entire ordeal all the more interesting was how Gal Gadot seemed to be oblivious to it all as she continued to practice the same smiley expression that fans criticized her for in the movie, at the press event as well. Whether this is all speculation or the younger actress actually has some bad blood with Gadot will become clearer as the two carry on to the promotions phase.
