Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left no stone unturned as they provided us with all the PDA in the world, or from a Royal couple, through their Harry & Meghan docuseries. The two were a breath of fresh air for reasons more than one.Markle and Prince Harry will soon enough be marking a decade of being happily married. But their Harry & Meghan docuseries was indication enough that the couple was yet to be out of its honeymoon phase. And their recent appearance at the Lakers Game cuddled up to one another might have added up to the narrative if it were not for one small moment. But fans fear their oh-so-strong bond may be withering.

The moment in question has supposedly broken Prince Harry’s heart, served as an indicator that their marriage is more or less over, and of course it went viral.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle signal a divorce at Lakers Game?

If a dollar was deposited into the food bank for each time someone said “I want what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have,” or something along those lines, hunger would not be a burning crisis for the world. Therefore, we do not blame the kiss cam for panning right at them when they attended the Lakers game on the 24th of April. The couple that seemed to be in their own bubble were startled to see themselves on the jumbotron. However, things soon got awkward when Prince Harry leaned in for a kiss and Meghan Markle gently rejected him.

The clip has dug its way to pop culture relevance and the viewers have more than two cents to give about it.

For some, it seemed like solid proof that the Sussexes will soon be getting a divorce. Others, however, applauded Markle for keeping things PG and refraining from kissing for the camera.

The Verdict: Gentle rejection or slap on the face?

Markle and Prince Harry have long been in the public eye. Together or not together. Therefore, citing that the couple may have gotten uncomfortable in front of the camera as a reason may not be the best move. Neither is saying that Markle rejected Prince Harry because now she is done and dusted with him.

In fact, keeping in mind that Markle is applauded for being media savvy, it is quite possible that she predicted beforehand the criticism they would receive for kissing on camera. Especially as her husband will soon be attending the coronation and presumably meeting some sour faces. Looking at the way Prince Harry retaliated jokingly with a grimace, he did not seem to be all too pressed about his wife rejecting his advances.
