Fans React to a Clip of Joshua Bassett and Xochitl Celebrating Noah Schnapp on Variety’s Cover Page
Noah Schnapp set the internet ablaze after he opened up about his sexuality. On January 5, the 18-year-old actor shared a video he had shot on his phone to almost 31 million followers on TikTok. However, it was not an easy decision for Schnapp. It took him months before he finally posted the video, and even still, the actor was unsure. Much to his delight, the video was met with an incredibly adorable response from the fan base. Not only did he gain immense love and support shortly after, but now also a spot on Variety’s cover page.
After he came out publicly, he even became a worldwide sensation. This has probably led him to feature on Variety’s cover page. Not long ago, Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood party celebrated its Young Hollywood issue. This year the prestigious magazine chose Noah Schnapp alongside Sydney Sweeney and musician Steve Lacy as the honorees. Furthermore, the event saw some of Hollywood’s rising stars in the audience, including Josh “Bru” Brubaker, Abigail Cowen, and Xochitl Gomez, to name a few.

Variety recently posted a clip from the party featuring Joshua Bassett and Xochitl Gomez on their Twitter account. The two actors were holding the latest issue of the magazine cover, with Noah Schnapp on the cover. Moreover, both the actors seemed very excited as they screamed and cried while they posed with the magazine. The Better Nate Than Ever star even kissed the magazine cover. The duo even exclaimed, “Oh My God,” and “I love him.”
While both the young actors were basically showing love to Schnapp, the fans did not seem as impressed by the duo’s reactions.

Shortly after Variety shared the clip of Joshua Bassett and Xochitl Gomez online, the video took the internet by storm. The fans did not seem impressed with their behavior as they stormed Twitter with multiple reactions. A majority of fans did not seem impressed as they called it “cringe” and trolled the duo.
Meanwhile, a number of fans seemed extremely happy seeing how supportive the duo was and praised them. A user even shipped the duo as she tweeted, “THEY LOOK CUTE TOGETHER.“

While his friends are certainly celebrating his win, Schnapp’s biggest supporter, Millie Bobby Brown, who had an adorable reaction to him coming out, is probably equally excited about the development.
