Fans Lose It as ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Pulls Yet Another Marketing Genius With A Pizza Brand Now
Deadpool & Wolverine is aiming to push all creative boundaries, even more so with their savvy marketing tactics. Since the promotion of the upcoming film began, the team has consistently knocked fans' socks off with their innovative approach to luring the audience into buying tickets. Perhaps this is the benefit of being under the marketing genius Ryan Reynolds' umbrella. And just like that, they have cooked up another hilariously creative marketing stunt, this time with a pizza brand.
Deadpool & Wolverine has teamed up with the American frozen pizza brand, DiGiorno, to launch four new limited-edition pizzas: THE WADE SPECIAL, GIMME CHIMI, MAXIMUM PEP, and SPICY WOLVIE PIE. These pizzas also pay homage to a memorable scene from the first Deadpool film, where Wade Wilson orders a pizza of his choice. The Feige’s Famous Pizza, named after Kevin Feige, the current President of Marvel Studios, has since become a fan favorite and has been recreated by many because of its uniqueness.

This came right after Deadpool & Wolverine marketed itself with a Beauty and the Beast-inspired poster. In the promotional poster, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman embraced each other and tried to recreate the iconic Beauty and the Beast ballroom scene. Much like the hilarity that fans appreciated in the poster, they also responded to the pizza collaboration and the comical taglines.
They shared their choice of Deadpool pizzas on X among the four, ruling out a specific pizza.
Deadpool & Wolverine’s pizza partnership has fans on board
Anyone who has followed the Deadpool franchise knows that Wade Wilson is a fan of Pineapple and Olive pizza because it is “sweet and salty”. This pizza was recreated by DiGiorno as 'THE WADE SPECIAL'. Though this partnership excited fans to try DiGiorno’s frozen pizzas, many of them had no intention of giving 'THE WADE SPECIAL' a try. Some of them could not even understand how Deadpool could like pineapple on a pizza.
Meanwhile, many fans developed a newfound craving for DiGiorno’s pizzas after this collaboration.
