Will Smith may have had perhaps the greatest dip since the debacle that unfolded at the Oscars, however, if there was ever a star that was capable of making a comeback even after such a stint, it was him. And with the fourth installment of his million-dollar franchise, he seems to be doing just that. With the movie set to release on June 7th, the promotions have traveled outside the screens and into Los Angeles.

After ferociously promoting the Bad Boys: Ride or Die on social media for months, Smith alongside Martin Lawrence has gotten the show on the road to ensure that the fourth installment brings honor to its predecessors. After gracing the Berlin premiere, the actors have turned up the heat in Los Angeles and fans both online and in real time have greeted them with excitement.

Will Smith's arrival electrifies fans at the Bad Boys: Ride or Die premiere in LA

Will Smith has in the past few years only made a select few public appearances, and those too were either to promote Emancipation or Jada Pinkett Smith's memoir. Therefore, Bad Boys: Ride or Die is, in many ways, the return of Will Smith that fans fell in love with. Right after clips from the premiere surfaced online, it had caused a diverse effect.

While some fans remarked at how hyped the premiere was and marveled at the number of people that had showed up to greet Smith, others had lesser nice things to say.

The actor has gone through different controversies since his Oscar debacle, however, fans were unwilling to let it go as they remarked how the actor seems to be acting like he never slapped Chris Rock in front of millions.
