Zack Snyder’s eminence in the fantasy genre of cinema has been witness to several high-impact projects. While his farewell to the DCU had erupted discord in fans, the saga of his otherworldly journey continued, nevertheless. Recently, a lot of enthusiasm was showering in the way of the cinematographer for his upcoming work in Rebel Moon- Part One: A Child of Fire. However, in a turn of events, a recent revelation regarding his casting preference has struck fans in utter dismay. 

Snyder’s advocacy of the space opera flick brought in the shower of many revelations beforehand, including his edge for the involvement of the director’s cut. But following the premiere of the movie on Wednesday, Snyder revealed some more about his desires for the future installments. In an interview with Variety, the filmmaker made an assurance of already having the “dream cast”. But adding to it, he expressed his wish to cast the NBA legend, LeBron James for the upcoming installment, reflecting how he is aware that it “sounds crazy.”.

The cinematic landscape has been witness to many crossovers of different fields, including the pop sensation, Dua Lipa’s work in Argylle. However, Snyder’s unveiling of overlapping the filming boundaries with the spectrum of sports was a major letdown to the supporters. Even though there is no surety if the desire will retain fulfillment, it became a lookout for the fans’ concern.

As a result, the news indeed broke the internet but not in the best of ways. Instead, fans actively took part in reasoning a debate stating their concerns.

There is no doubt that Zack Snyder’s influence in cinema remains unparalleled. The same was also in view regarding Rebel Moon’s incoming on Netflix. However, the sway of excitement does not align with turning a blind eye to the intrusive disclosures that came from Snyder. Rather, it led to a row of conflict as supporters displayed a red flag to it.

Most fans had their take for the jibe and many even had a hint of jokes about it. But on the other hand, some fans were excited to see the possibility of it becoming true.
