She can not have dairy, but a salted snowy cappuccino is always a thumbs up for Reese Witherspoon. Recently, the Friends cameo star treated fans to a video of her crafting a unique beverage. She scooped snow from her car that had been chilling there for the past few days. Witherspoon added salted caramel syrup, chocolate syrup, and a hint of cold brew to the snow for that delicious twist. The actress then dubbed her concoction a “salted snowy cappuccino” or a “snow salt chococcino”.

With a playful grin, she took a sip of her homemade masterpiece, made from scratch. The 47-year-old star then ate her snow with a spoon which had fans losing their mind. Even though the close pal of Jennifer Aniston seemed to be loving her snowy snack, lots of fans on TikTok and X, formerly Twitter, were not too thrilled about the main ingredient in her drink. Witherspoon’s video had many wondering if it is safe to chow down on fallen snow.

To clear things up, she dropped another TikTok on January 19 to address some criticism about her wintry creation. Some TikTok users recommended melting snow in the microwave to see if any dirt was left. Witherspoon went ahead with the experiment, grabbed some snow from the backyard, and microwaved it. As a result, she got crystal clear snow. Holding up a mason jar filled with clear water, the Oscar winner asked, “Is this bad? Am I not supposed to eat snow?”

Fans, however, did not pull any punches in mocking the actress and expressing their disagreement over her food habits.

Following the TikTok, many fans perceived Reese Witherspoon’s actions as quite unhygienic. Even with precautions like using a bowl and avoiding freshly fallen or windy snow, pollutants from the air or ground are inevitable. Adding to the concern, Witherspoon scraped it off the top of her car, potentially increasing the unhygienic aspect. As a result, fans took to X to express their various concerns directly to Witherspoon.

Many fans also joked with the wordplay of Reese “with-her-spoon“, as she ate the snow with a spoon.

Some fans asserted that, regardless of how unhygienic the drink she consumed may have been, they are still going to adore the actress.

Even in the face of fan reservations regarding Reese Witherspoon’s innovative way of getting rid of the snow outside of her house, it would be a faux pas not to concede that the idea of indulging in raw snow has likely danced through everyone’s thoughts at least once.
