In another recent interview, she spoke out on how she has crafted her public persona, revealing insights into her how she has managed to keep certain aspects of her life for herself.

In a real candid conversation with Wednesday star Jenna Ortega for Interview Magazine, Natalie Portman discussed how she crafted a “serious” public image at just 12 years old to shield herself from the pressures of fame. After her breakthrough role in Léon: The Professional, Portman felt s----lized and, in response, adopted a "smart" and "studious" persona. She shared that this strategy allowed her to feel safe from all that unwanted attention. 

Portman also chatted away about how while her public image has been serious, she is far from it in real life. She confessed to being "silly" and down-to-earth, but added that she learned early on how to guard her privacy, even imposing boundaries such as not doing photo shoots with her children. Looking ahead, she is excited for her upcoming role in Fountain of Youth, where she plans to continue playing the balancing  act between fame and her private life.
