'F1's Damson Idris Has the World Shocked as He Reveals His Rejections Including James Bond
Damson Idris was a part of some of the best-produced English crops with unbound acting talent melting like butter with good looks, and the entire ordeal being elevated to the ninth skies, owing to his charisma. And as the norm has come to be, whenever the orbit of any actor shines bright, they are speculated to play James Bond. Damson Idris too got his chance at the finely tailored 007 suit.
The first connection of Damson Idris with James Bond was no slim string played by a supposed insider but a 'confirmation', by the actor as he responded to a fan who had tweeted that Idris turned down the role of the Black Panther repeatedly. Not one to advocate fake news, Idris set the record clear by stating that Panther was not the only role he had been offered, as he added James Bond, a co-lead film with Daniel Day-Lewis, an Eddie Murphy biopic, and most importantly, a sarcastic bow out in his reply. Despite the indications, the Internet's sarcasm radar has misfired, as they took his words as gospel.

In an age where young Hollywood actors bemoan the Herculean task of finding scripts worth their salt or their money, let alone landing a role substantial enough to decline, Damson Idris' no-god land of imagination and sarcasm could only fit the shoe as a joke and not reality. Yet, leave it to the actor’s sharp wit and the Internet’s unfailing penchant for jumping to conclusions to turn a joke into a full-blown drama.
Irony or not, the mere mention of these roles has provided fans with enough energy to keep demanding that the actor play all these blockbuster roles.
From James Bond to Black Panther, Damson Idris turns the Internet into his personal jester
The lineup 'confirmed' by the Nigerian actor that conveniently involves some of the most anticipated projects of the coming years has the Internet understandably going 'Damson' with a slight pause after the dam. Even those perceptive enough to catch the sarcasm in his reply have shown no intention of letting the joke rest, persistently nudging the actor and the studios to transform this whimsical jest into a cinematic reality, such is the charm of the actor.
The first responders to Damson Idris' joke were the Nigerians, who deemed it a "Nigerian" response while guffawing at how effortlessly the actor had the Internet wrapped around his fingers.
