While the world celebrated World Mental Health Day on the 10th of October, the Deadpool star talked about his own mental health struggles.

Actress Glenn Close founded Bring Change to Mind which just hosted its 11th Annual Revels and Revelations Gala in New York City. The Canadian actor graced the event and talked to Page Six about his own mental health. The interviewer asked the 46-year-old actor about how he managed his own mental health. “You know, not always great, to be perfectly honest,” said Reynolds. Additionally, he also revealed his little rituals to keep his overwhelming emotions grounded and his “mind from spinning out of control”.
He honestly admitted not being good at it all the time. However, talking about the efforts, he revealed he also meditated and tried to get some time for himself. He also admitted a shocking detail about himself, about overbooking himself when spiraling out of control. Nevertheless, The Proposal actor’s awareness of this habit helps him not to sink into it and manage it as well as he can.
Bring Change to Mind provides information and resources to help fight the mental health stigma. While doing this noble work, the foundation honored the Green Lantern star with the Robin Williams Legacy of Laughter Award as well. Previously, the Vancouver-born actor had also admitted his lifelong struggles with anxiety.

When Reynolds appeared on My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman, he opened up about his severe anxiety. He revealed his public image would totally differ from his personal image. But he rarely shows it in the public eye. He admitted it all started with getting validation from his now late father and their strenuous relationship with him.
Apart from his wife, Blake Lively, and other close ones, one other person who also helped him to get through his anxiety was none other than Hugh Jackman. Because the actor himself has struggled with mental health issues, now, he wants to create a face home for his children. How an ever-smiling face can sometimes hide so much behind the mask!
