'Euphoria' Season 3's Delays Come From a Major Change in the Storyline by Creator Sam Levinson
Euphoria is not everyone's cup of tea, but those who really connect with the show get it. It was groundbreaking for its honest portrayal of addiction and risky subjects. The raw portrayal of taboo topics has been around for ages, but in Euphoria, it was devoid of any glorification- no longer portrayed as slapstick comedy or carefree excitement. Euphoria showed it as it was, which could have been hard to swallow because it was way too real. Yet, those very aspects also ignited a lot of debate and controversy around the show.
With talks about season 3, creator Sam Levinson has devised a brilliant strategy of toning down the show's exploration of risky subjects.
