However, the cancelation rumors have recently reached new heights with the stars' scheduling conflicts at focus, prompting Sydney Sweeney and Zendaya to speak up.
Addressing the longtime rumors about scheduling, they shattered the buzz and opened up about how the delays impacted them in return.
Sydney Sweeney reflects on Euphoria season 3 delays

In a recent conversation with Vanity Fair, Euphoria actor Sydney Sweeney revealed having missed a few projects because of the third season delays. However, this year also introduced Sweeney as a producer, and somehow it worked in her favor. As a producer, Sweeney was able to say, “I don’t think this is happening,” before putting some of her own projects in schedule. The actor went on to explain that this is how her rom-com blockbuster, Anyone But You, came to actualize.
Sweeney recalled Euphoria was supposed to begin production during that time, and besides Anyone But You, the actor had another film to begin with. However, they could not get “cleared,” which made her come to terms with the fact that this cannot keep going, and decided to put her toes fully into the making of Anyone But You. Though Euphoria is actually set to go into production next year, with cancelation denial made by the studios, it looks like Sweeney and the fans were not the only ones thrown under the bus.

In fact, Zendaya had something similar to share about the speculations of scheduling conflicts by the stars of the show.
Zendaya sheds light on Euphoria season 3 delays
In a recent but separate conversation with Vanity Fair, Zendaya debunked the rumors surrounding her scheduling conflicts for Euphoria season 3, revealing she has been “off for a couple years.” Letting out a little giggle, Zendaya even revealed how she is the one who is “waiting.” The actor admitted that she will start filming a new project soon before Euphoria goes into production, but the off hours make her feel “rusty.”

Zendaya explained she has not been on any set for two years now, which actually makes her “terrified” of what is to come. She confessed to doubting whether she could keep going but shared this feeling recurs every time she takes on a new project. However, speaking of Euphoria, she seems as excited as before to return as Rue and see what the awaited season has for her and her fans on the slate.
