Eric Trump Takes Aim at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, Claims US Doesn't "give a d**n"
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are no strangers to criticism. In fact, ever since they distanced themselves from the royal family and gave up their titles, they have become the favorite targets of royal critics. Their tell-alls certainly did not help calm the fire either. However, it turns out that it is not just UK residents and royal experts who have their feathers ruffled over the estranged royal couple. Recently, Eric Trump, the son of former US President Donald Trump, also made some harsh remarks about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. And not just that.
Trump also made it clear that he was representing the voice of America, which, according to him, has bigger concerns than the ex-royals.

Eric Trump recently shared his opinion about the Californian royals, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, during an interview with the Daily Mail. The businessman stated, “I don't give a d--n about Prince Harry, and I don't think this country does either.” While he admires the monarchy and also respects the late Queen, Trump said it is “sad” for him to watch how the Sussexes “have gone off the deep end.”
Trump went on to call Prince Harry a “black sheep” in the royal family, who is “led” by his “pretty unpopular” wife, Meghan Markle. Trump’s backlash against the Duke and Duchess of Sussex came after the tension surrounding Prince Harry’s US visa. It was speculated- should Donald Trump win the election, he might make the 40-year-old move out of the country due to some of the admissions in his memoir, Spare.
Prince Harry’s memoir has not only caused friction with the royal family but also put his permanent US residency at risk.

Earlier this year, the conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation called for Prince Harry’s US visa application to be released so Americans could see if he disclosed his past substance use before moving to America in 2020. This request followed the Duke’s admissions of drug use in Spare. Prince Harry won the case in September, citing privacy interest in his immigration status. However, in the Daily Mail interview, Eric Trump assured that the Duke had nothing to worry about in the first place, even if his father wins the election.
“I don’t give a d--n if he did d---s. It means nothing,” stated Trump, dismissing fears of the Duke being deported under the Donald Trump administration. While his remark may offer some reassurance to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s fans in America, it also raises the question of whether there are many fans left in the US to celebrate this hands-off approach.
