For those unversed, seat fillers are those who cover up as audience if the ones with tickets happen to hit the loo or are off their seats for some reason. According to the site listed on the official page of the Emmys, people wanting to attend Hollywood's most exclusive events can now gain access through Seatfillers and More. This organization opens the door to a world previously reserved for industry insiders, allowing people to enjoy the ultimate Hollywood experience in top red-carpet events like the upcoming Emmy Awards.

By registering online, individuals can sign up to attend the event with the ability to book, change, or cancel requests with ease. Those interested in becoming seatfillers can join a select group that gets to experience the magic of Hollywood's biggest nights. With no charge to sign up, people can upload their photo and resume, and start receiving updates on new shows and signup start dates.

As per Winnipegger Amanda Buhse's experience of last year's Emmy Awards, once selected as a seat filler, individuals enter a world of glamour and excitement, rubbing shoulders with celebrities. With only 50 spots available, the experience is highly coveted. As a seat filler, one must be prepared to move around, filling empty seats during the live airing as attendees get up to present or take breaks. As exhilarating as it is, the rules are strict.

No talking to celebrities unless initiated, no cameras, no cellphones, and a dress code of black or dark navy. Despite the strict guidelines, the opportunity to be in the vicinity of Hollywood's elite is almost all a commoner would want. The 2024 Emmy Awards will take place in Los Angeles, from the city's entertainment hub, broadcasting live on September 15, at 8 p.m. Eastern on ABC.
